DAVE DOYLE

Hi. I'm Dave. I'm a writer. My current clients include MMAFighting.com and Yahoo Sports. I've previously worked for SI.com, FOXSports.com, CBSSports.com, and The Boston Globe. I'm a member of the Mixed Martial Arts Journalists Association and the National Lesbian and Gay Journalists Association. I grew up in Boston and try not to be too obnoxious about sports. I've called Los Angeles home for the past 12 years. 

Some of my favorite work in recent years includes:

• The time I stayed up til dawn in a Dublin tavern watching Conor McGregor's fans cheer on their hero in his rematch with Nate Diaz. 
• My chronicle of my night at Arena Mexico,  Mexico City's legendary lucha libre palace. 
• A profile of McGregor's agent, Audie Attar, in the buildup to McGregor's match with Floyd Mayweather. 
• A profile of Liz Carmouche, just months before she and Ronda Rousey went on to make history in the first-ever UFC women's fight. 
• I came out professionally last summer via Sports Illustrated. Wish I had done so a lot sooner.
